PORTRAIT SESSION: IVONA II

I’ve previously blogged about the portrait session I did with model, Ivona a couple of weeks ago (click here to check it out). This post features images from the the first half of the shoot. Ivona was such a professional – anyone who lives in Manchester, England knows that the weather right now is still freeeeezing! I’m probably exaggerating, but I’m a summer baby, I need sunshine! Warm sunshine!  Anyways, as I was saying, Ivona was a true professional, she didn’t complain once about the cold and even when I suggested a break so that she could warm up in my car a little, she soldiered on. Ashleigh Louise also did a great job with the make up. It was my second time working with Ashleigh and once again it was a pleasure. Click here to check out more of her work.

This is one of my favourite image from this shoot… I took it using my 50 mm F1.4 at F2.2, 1/800 sec, ISO 500

It’s amzaing how energy from the colour of Ivona Chatinovskaja skin, lips, hair and that fabulous hat’s seem to resonate throughout the entire shoot, even as I study the strong line of the B/W images within this collection, that same energy is carried through, Location, Model, Makeup and Photography, all come together beautifully.

It just goes to show, Tanya. “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what ‘YOU’ see.”

Thanks so much for the words Lloyd, it’s always great to have your feedback. I really enjoyed this shoot and working with such a professional team.
