Castlefield Engagement: Chinye + Preston

I always ask couples, "where did you meet?". I am forever curious to know. Chinye and Preston met through Facebook and are wanted to somehow make reference to this in their engagement shoot to make it all the more personal to them. I love this idea and love the fact that they met on Facebook. It seems to be a growing trend, many of the couples I photograph came together due to the power of the internet, with through online dating sites or through Facebook. Technology was especially important to Chinye & Preston because they also lived miles apart. Chinye, down South, Preston up North in England, so video calls were a blessing for them. Chinye approached the shoot with much enthusiasm which I loved and was really keen to bring her own personal elements to the shoot. The couple choose Castlefield, Manchester for their photoshoot location. The shoot started indoors at wine bar, Dukes92Preston had his finance laughing in no time...The couple changed into their second outfits and we headed outdoors. On the day, it rained pretty much none stop but this did little to put the breaks on their enthusiasm, they simply brought an umbrella!We headed back inside for a final outfit change and a few more pictures. Venue: Dukes92Location: Castlefield, Manchester, EnglandPhotography: Tanya Weekes
