KOH LIPE CASTAWAY RESORT PHOTOSHOOT: SAFRANA

I can’t remember exactly how long I have been friends with Safrana, it’s hard to remember a time when I wasn’t. We used to work together back in my fashion buying days and even though we both no longer work in that industry, we have continued to work together ever since as Safrana, often assists me on my wedding shoots. Our working relationship quickly developed into a strong friendship which includes being my go-to travel buddy and all around partner in crime. We have been through a lot together with lots of laughter along the way. When Safrana was invited to a wedding in Malaysia, she invited me along and we decided to make it a sequel trip to our earlier adventure where we spent almost two months travelling around Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia. This time around, our travels took us to the small Thai island of Koh Lipe. The pictures in this post are from the portrait session I had I did of Safrana at Castaway Resort where we were staying whilst on the island.

Koh Lipe Castaway Resort sits on beautiful Sunrise Beach which is surrounded by coral reefs. The resort is made up of rustic wooden bungalows which are dotted along the beach front and was the perfect setting for the portraits I took of Safrana during our stay.
