La Ferme Municipale Wedding: Inès + Yassine

I met lovely Inès randomly by chance in New York. I was in New York for a June engagement session and making the most of my free time. We were both alone and we struck up a conversation. I immediately warmed to Inès . She has such a beautiful welcoming spirit. We parted ways not before exchanging Facebook details and plans of meeting up again in a few days. We didn't end up meeting up, but we were still in touch through the power of Facebook.In August, Inès sent me a Facebook message, casually mentioning that she was getting wedding, and that she had seen my work on my Facebook Page and would love if I would come to France to photograph her Moroccan wedding which she was having in a old French farmhouse in a small town called, Bruyeres sur Oise. I love photographing and I love to travel so for me it was a double bonus :-) Of course, I said yes.Inès got ready at her parents, beautiful home amongst close friends and family. Inès explained that it is a tradition in Moroccan weddings for brides to change wedding dresses up to ten times! Inès modestly opted to change dresses just four times, starting with this lovely turquoise dress.Yassine, the groom arrived with his sister for his 'first look' at his bride with a bouquet of pink and ivory roses and a ready smile.Quick selfie...The bride and groom left the family house and made the hour long drive to La Ferme Municipale followed by a convoy of cars made up of family and friends that beeped their horns joyfully as they made their way the farmhouse. The bride and groom were greeted happily with lots of smiles from family and friends and the music of traditional Moroccan band, Deqa Marrakchia. While Inès got changed into her second dress for the night (a beautiful ivory ensemble) the band happily kept the guests warmed up in time for the bride to make her big entrance in her Amaria.Inès and Yassine's guests danced happily.
