TRAVELS: ALHAMBRA, SPAIN

I have to confess, I hadn't heard of The Alhambra Palace before I went to Granada, Spain. Trip Advisor ranks it number on it's list of top 10 things to do in Granada but as with anything, these things are subjective. I haven't explored much of Granada to argue otherwise but as soon as I stepped into The Alhambra, I could see why. The Alhambra Palace, is truly magnificent. It is like a feast for the eyes, a photographer's dream. Everything is a picture. I was torn between wanting to photograph literally everything and simply experience everything minus my camera. There are so many beautiful details, my favourite was the way that the water features are so beautifully integrated into the design and layout. I'm not talking about your typical water fountain here and there, but paths of water, that trickle down stairs and turn corners, like a border, it's hard to describe, trust me, you have to go and see for yourself. Here are a few highlights from my day At The Alhambra...My travel partner... Wandering Brown.I have this thing with floors...The Palace is a complex Moorish fortress that over looks the town below. The views were amazing.Photography by Tanya WeekesPhotographs of me by William BrownLocation: Alhambra Palace, Granada, SpainAirline: Ryanair
